Low Power Analog Correlator for Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry
نویسنده
چکیده
Analog correlation is an important analog signal processing function. A new analog correlator circuit for implementing Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry (SSTDR) technique is proposed. SSTDR technique, makes locating intermittent faults possible, by continuously testing live wiring networks. The proposed correlator circuit is more linear by almost an order of magnitude and consumes half the power. It is designed and implemented using a 0.5-μm CMOS process and consumes

Look up Table Based Low Power Analog Circuit Testing
In this paper, a method of low power analog testing is proposed. In spite of having Oscillation Based Built in Self-Test methodology (OBIST), a look up table based (LUT) low power testing approach has been proposed to find out the faulty circuit and also to sort out the particular fault location in the circuit. In this paper an operational amplifier, which is the basic building block in the ana...

This work proposes a direct sequence spread spectrum transmitter with high transmission range and efficiency for audio signals. It is shown that by choosing high process gain for spread spectrum signal the data could reach a range of 55km in the 2.4GHz ISM band. By employing a light modulation scheme, we have a relaxed SNR requirement for having a low bit error rate (BER) which translates to re...

We propose a high-resolution optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR) based on an all-fiber supercontinuum source. The source simply consists of a laser with moderate power and a section of fiber which has a zero dispersion wavelength near the laser’s central wavelength. Spectrum and time domain properties of the source are investigated, showing that the source has great capability in nonlinear...

Abstract Energy efficiency (EE), which is defined as a ratio of spectrum efficiency (SE) to power consumption, is a key performance metric in mobile communication system. The signal waveform has little influence on energy consumption of analog circuit and baseband unit. On the other hand, the energy consumption of power amplifier (PA) highly depends on signal waveform. The power amplifier effic...
